The National Horseracing Museum has a long tradition of organising priveleged visits to working stable yards in Newmarket and giving people the opportunity of seeing behind the scenes. Before visiting a yard the tour starts on the training gallops to watch horses exercising on Newmarket's extensive training grounds. If it is in operation on that day a visit to the horses' swimming pool is included. After the two-hour tour the mini-bus returns to the Museum to enable people to enjoy the Museum galleries, ride the horse simulator and visit the Gift shop and Café.
