Gallops Watch - Breeze Up Tour 2012
Tuesday 17th April and Thursday 3rd May 2012
Departs from the Museum reception at 8.30am
This new tour for 2012 will provide a unique opportunity to see unraced two-year-olds doing their 'breeze up' gallops, under the scrutiny of bloodstock agents and potential buyers, before they go under the hammer at the Tattersalls Breeze Up sales the next day. The tour guide will provide all the background information about the gallops and then lead the tour to the sales complex where the two-year-olds are paraded and stood for further inspection and assessment.
The sales catalogue will be provided and the bloodlines information and importance of black type explained.
Note: The actual selling of the horses takes place the following day but you are welcome to return to Tattersalls in your own time to see the outcome of the sales.
Adults: £30. Includes Museum admission and a complimentary tea/coffee at the Museum café.
