General Terms
Photography and mobile devices
The use of photography, film and video
equipment is strictly prohibited inside the Museum in all galleries except for
the Practical Gallery. Photography is allowed in the shop, café and gardens.
Mobile telephones must be switched off
within the Museum and Galleries.
If you need to respond to or make a
call on a mobile phone, please move to another area of the premises such as the
shop, café or garden and please be considerate to other visitors.
The consumption of food or drink is
strictly prohibited within any of the museum galleries.
Unreasonable Behaviour
The National Horseracing Museum
reserves the right to suspend and/or cancel any ticket to the Museum in the
event of unsatisfactory or unreasonable behaviour on the part of the bearer –
behaviour that in the opinion of a member of staff is causing or likely to
cause damage to Museum property or which constitutes either offensive behaviour
or which might reasonably be considered to curtail the enjoyment or safety of
other Museum visitors and/or staff. This includes all areas of the site
including those areas for which no charge is made such as but not limited to the
the shop, café and/or garden.
