Family-Friendly Fright Night at the Museum

Halloween is almost here!

Palace House was once the horseracing home of King Charles II during his visits to Newmarket, dating back to the mid 1600’s. Today, it is home to paintings and many other works of art.

We’re inviting families and young children to dress up and join us at Palace House this Halloween! Take a tour by torchlight and watch history come alive, meet the ghosts of Charles II and his housekeeper, and join us on a witch hunt!

We’re hiding five witches around Palace House – find them all and win a goody bag! Dressing up is very much encouraged, both adults and kids alike!

Head to The Bakery for your free brownie if you’re in fancy dress. They will also be selling sweet treats and waffles.

This event takes place on Thursday 28th and Friday 29th October 2021 from 4pm – 6pm and lasts approximately 30-45 minutes. Suitable for all ages.
