National Horseracing Museum has announced the resignation of its Chairman, Stephen Bourne on 15th July 2021.
Stephen joined the board at NHRM in July 2020 and took over the Chair post from Rachel Hood in September last year.
During his tenure, he has introduced a number of strategic focuses, particularly in terms of closer integration between the town and the museum. However, demands on the Chairman’s time to drive and achieve the museum’s future proved incompatible with Stephen’s other pre-existing charitable engagements and commitments.
He has, therefore, decided to resign. The Board of Trustees would like to thank Stephen for his support and endeavours during his time as a Trustee and Chairman. Stephen and his wife Stephanie remain Friends of NHRM and the National Horseracing Museum.
