George Denholm Armour: A life illustrated

The museum is grateful to have been loaned a collection of original George Denholm Armour drawings and watercolours dating from the 1870s until the 1930s. This lifetime of work covers a period of enormous social, economic and technological change in both Britain and the wider world.

Armour is regarded as one of the outstanding sporting artists of his time and there is much to enjoy in his humour and his talent for capturing movement, form and gesture.

Admission to the exhibition is included in general admission, giving you access to all areas including the National Horse Racing Museum, Palace House, and the Rothschild Yard where you can meet ex-racehorses!
