Chocolate Workshop

Chocolate! Need we say more?

The National Horseracing Museum is delighted to team up with local chocolatiers Artistry in Cocoa of Newmarket for a morning of chocolate discovery and truffle making in this special chocolate workshop.

Join us for an introduction to the art of chocolate making and find out about Newmarket’s royal history of chocolate – including how it was enjoyed as a bitter, medicinal drink popular at the time of King Charles II. You can then enjoy a chocolate discovery tasting session and create a box of your very own decadent truffles to take away.

Places are limited and booking is essential. No previous experience necessary!

Booking information can be found below. In the meantime, please email info@nhrm.co.uk if you have any questions about this event.

Cost of entry to our Chocolate Workshop:

Tickets for this workshop are £35 per person. To buy your tickets, click here.

Once you are here, why not check out the rest of the museum. You can purchase day passes here, which give you access to all areas including the National Horseracing Museum, Palace House and the Rothschild Yard, where you can meet retired racehorses! What’s more, once you’ve purchased your day ticket you can upgrade to an Annual Pass for FREE. This gives you unlimited access for 12 months from the date of your first visit.

Already an existing Annual Pass holder? Head to the shop after the Chocolate Workshop to scan your ticket and pick up a day badge.

Why not make a day of it and book a table for lunch at The Tack Room restaurant, or order a picnic from The Bakery to enjoy in our beautiful grounds.
