This exhibition has closed.

‘Follow Your Nose! The History of Beagling’ looks at the long history of using scent hounds such as Beagles and Bassets to track game. The exhibition charts the fortunes of this sport through the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and looks at the portrayal of scent hounds in popular culture through characters such as Snoopy.

The prints, paintings and artefacts are all drawn from the collections of the British Sporting Art Trust.
