Join us on Saturday 5^th June 2021 from 10am – 5pm for a packed day of events and activities!

The highlight of the day is an awe-inspiring display of magnificent birds of prey from around the world including hawks, falcons and eagles with CJ’s Birds of Prey. See a variety of falconry equipment, learn how the birds are trained to hunt for food, and so much more!

Oscar the Shetland pony will be making a welcome return for the weekend – always popular with kids and adults alike!

Come and see a carriage-driving demonstration by Linda Porter Cohen and her adorable American miniature horse, Bambi, just 30 inches tall.  Bambi is a marvellous character who always wants to “chat” with people!

Have a browse around our farmers’ market, pre-order a picnic from The Bakery to eat in our beautiful grounds, or spend a little longer and book a table at The Tack Room restaurant and enjoy 25% off your food bill on Saturday when you present your ticket. There’s something for everyone at this fun family day out.

Enter the raffle for a luxury hamper worth over £60, which will include a bottle of award-winning raspberry gin liqueur, a box of delicious mixed fudge, some exquisite artisanal chocolates, a Biscoff Bar, a pictorial book, and a handmade scented candle.

• 11am: Meet our ex-racehorses – Rothschild Yard
• 12pm – 2pm: Birds of Prey display – Peter O’Sullevan Arena
• 2:30pm: Bambi’s carriage driving demonstration – Peter O’Sullevan Arena
• 3pm: Raffle winner announced – Peter O’Sullevan Arena

Cost of entry to Birds of Prey at NHRM:

Meeting our ex-racehorses, watching the Birds of Prey display and the carriage driving demonstration are all included within the cost of general admission. This ticket also gives you access to all areas including the National Horseracing Museum, Palace House and the Rothschild Yard, where you can meet retired racehorses!

To buy your tickets, click here and select General Admission, then 5th June 2021 using the date selector. When you get here, upgrade to an Annual Pass for FREE. This gives you unlimited access for 12 months from the date of your first visit.

Already an existing Annual Pass holder? Head to the shop on arrival to scan your ticket and pick up a day badge.

We take the safety of our staff and visitors very seriously. Please ensure that you stay with your household or your bubble and maintain social distancing from other groups at the event. In line with government guidelines, please ensure that everyone over the age of 11 wears a face-covering indoors (unless you are exempt). We have hand sanitiser available throughout the site but please feel free to bring your own.
