Paint a resident Museum horse from life under the expert tutelage of Jim Power HSEA!
This workshop is suitable for artists of all levels and free to attend with entry to the museum. Artists must bring their own materials and can work in any medium.
Jim Power HSEA has been a member of the Society of Equestrian Artists for over 40 years and has spent a lifetime working with horses in and around Newmarket. He has many a tale to tell about his career working with horses and has been running equestrian workshops on behalf of the SEA for many years.
This is a friendly and insightful workshop and the perfect introduction to painting horses from life.
*Please note, we hope this event will take place in fine weather in the Rothschild yard, however, in the event of poor weather, participants will paint the Frankel statue from under cover in the King’s Yard.
