Suitable for all ages.

The Holiday Activity & Food Fund Programme:

The National Horseracing Museum has teamed up with Suffolk County Council, West Suffolk Council and the Department for Education for 2024’s The Holiday Activity and Food Fund Programme, also known as The HAF Programme.

If families from the local area are eligible for Free School Meals, picnic bag lunches are available to book in advance from The Tack Box in the King’s Yard for children and young people aged 5-16. Simply make your booking using the EEQU website [ https://eequ.org/search-learning-experiences?q=National+Horseracing+Museum ]. These picnic bag lunches are provided at no cost to recipients of Free School Meals.

What is The HAF Programme?

The HAF Programme supports children and families in the school holidays, enabling children and young people to enjoy fun activities with friends and develop new skills, particularly those who receive free school meals. Outside of term-time, the HAF Programme provides healthy food and enriching activities to free school meal eligible children in every local authority in England. The Programme was significantly expanded for 2024, and the National Horseracing Museum is proud to be involved in the 2024 scheme across the summer and Christmas holidays.
