The Holiday Activity & Food Fund Programme:

The National Horseracing Museum has teamed up with Suffolk County Council, West Suffolk Council, the Association for Suffolk Museums and the Department for Education for 2022’s The Holiday Activity and Food Fund Programme, also known as The HAF Programme.

If families attending our Summer programme of Free Family Fun in Palace House Garden are eligible for Free School Meals from our local area, picnic bag lunches from The Bakery in the King’s Yard for children and young people aged 5-16 are available to book in advance by sending an email to Sarah at info@nhrm.co.uk.

These picnic bag lunches are provided at no cost to recipients of Free School Meals.

What is The HAF Programme?

The HAF Programme supports children and families in the school holidays. Outside of term-time, the HAF Programme provides healthy food and enriching activities to free school meal eligible children in every local authority in England. The Programme has been significantly expanded for 2022 and the National Horseracing Museum is proud to be involved in the 2022 summer holidays scheme. To find out more click here.
