In celebration of Mother’s Day, we are delighted to offer any mum visiting the museum with their child free access on Sunday 19^th March! Simply come to the museum shop on the day to claim your free ticket.

Open from 10am until 4pm, you can come and keep warm in our galleries, meet the retired racehorses being retrained on-site, have a go on the racing simulator and so much more.

Whilst you’re here, why not make a day of it and stay for lunch in The Tack Room? They’re offering a free glass of fizz to all adults, and free puddings to everyone! If you’d prefer, you can also order a picnic from The Bakery to enjoy in our beautiful grounds.

Cost of entry to Mother’s Day – Mums Go Free:

Entrance is FREE on Sunday 19th March 2023 for all mums visiting with their child. Your free day pass gives you access to all areas including the National Horseracing Museum, Palace House and the Rothschild Yard, where you can meet retired racehorses!

To get your ticket, just head to the shop on arrival to check in and pick up a day badge. To purchase tickets for any other visitors, you can do this on the day too from the museum shop.

However, if you would prefer to book in advance, simply click on the ‘Book Now’ button on the right hand side. You can follow the on-screen instructions and add the relevant number of tickets to your basket before checking out. There’s no need to add a ticket for Mum – these can be claimed upon arrival.

Please note, ‘Mums Go Free’ tickets are not eligible for a free upgrade to an Annual Pass, but you can pay standard admission on the day to unlock your 12 month pass. Speak to a member of staff for more information.
