NHRM Benefactor Schemes
Preserving yesterday's culture for tomorrow's generation
The National Horseracing Museum, located in the heart of Newmarket, spans a 5-acre site, including Palace House, the last surviving remnants of Charles II’s sporting palace, the Grade II listed Trainer’s House, King’s Yard the Rothschild Yard, a working blacksmith’s forge and arena and paddocks beyond.
The historical buildings present a beautiful setting for a unique collection that reflects the fascinating history and science of horseracing from its earliest origins to the present day.
Palace House is now home to the British Sporting Art collection of paintings, prints and works on paper, relating to the wider sporting heritage of the UK.
In addition, the historic Rothschild stable yard is home to the Retraining of Racehorses charity (RoR), enabling visitors to meet former racehorses being trained for life beyond the track.
It is a privilege to be the fundraising trustee of this inimitable institution and I believe that in the forthcoming years, with ambitious plans to establish an exciting exhibition and community programme, renovate galleries and build a solid foundation through an endowment, we can support the future of this museum together.
Individual support is indispensable for NHRM, and it is my great hope that you will give generously to the museum by joining one of our benefactor schemes.
