Throughout the year we run a range of special events at the museum - check out our latest events below where you'll find information on prices, times and booking. Our special events are generally not included in the cost of general admission and tend to be for limited numbers, offered on a first come, first served basis, so book now to avoid disappointment!

General Events & Exhibitions

Our mission is to promote the sport of horseracing and the enjoyment of British sporting art by bringing the culture and heritage of horseracing, together with an understanding of the racing industry, to a wider general audience. We do this through dedicated exhibitions and general events, the majority of which are included in the cost of general admission. Find out more below.

  • Fred Astaire: Horses & Hollywood

    This online exhibition looks at a collection of letters written by the legendary Fred Astaire, one of Hollywood's greatest ever dancers, to his Newmarket-based jockey and trainer Jack Leach.
